What Is This?

The website lets you browse any mode and see it on the fretboard. The iPhone app adds the missing piece: a chord-progression analyzer. Type the chords of a song — like Am Dm G C — and Guitar Mode Finder detects the mode and its parent scale, then maps the notes across the whole neck.

It runs entirely on your device. Free, no ads, no account, and no data collected.
