Guitar Mode Finder for iPhone

Privacy Policy

Last updated 18 September 2026

Guitar Mode Finder is developed by høigaard.no. The app does not collect, store, or share any personal data. This policy covers the app; the website has a policy of its own.

How the App Works

All processing happens entirely on your device. The chord progressions you type are analyzed locally, and the mode, the parent scale and the fretboard are all worked out on your phone. Nothing is sent anywhere. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs that collect data.

What Is Stored on Your Device

One thing is kept between sessions, in the app’s own private storage on your phone, and it is never transmitted:

A saved progression is the chords as you typed them and the time you saved them. It contains nothing about you. Deleting a saved progression removes it, and deleting the app removes all of them.

Microphone

The app does not use the microphone and never asks for permission to. You type the chords; it does not listen to you play.

Your Rights (EU/EEA)

The app collects no personal data, so there is nothing to access, correct, export, or delete. If you have questions, contact us below.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version on this page.
