What the Site Records

The site sets no cookies and asks for no account. Three things are recorded:

• Visit counts. Umami, a cookie-free analytics tool, counts which pages are opened, the site you came from, and your browser, operating system, device type and country. It stores no IP address and cannot identify you.
• Server logs. Like any web server, ours keeps a standard access log — IP address, time, the page requested and the browser — to fix faults and stop abuse. These are deleted after 14 days.
• The feedback form. Only if you use it. See below.

The Feedback Form

When you send feedback, we store the message, the category you picked, the time, and your IP address. The IP is kept to stop the form being flooded. An email address is optional and only needed if you want an answer — leave it out and the message is anonymous.

The message is stored on our own server and emailed to us through Resend, an email service that handles the delivery. Feedback is deleted within six months, sooner once it is dealt with. Nothing from the form is used for advertising, and it is never sold or shared beyond that.

Your Rights (EU/EEA)

You can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to delete it. For feedback, tell us roughly when you wrote and we will find it. Visit counts hold nothing personal, and server logs are gone within two weeks. The legal basis for all of it is our legitimate interest in keeping the site working, secure and useful, and in answering the people who write to us.
